Attenborough Nature Reserve 11/3/12

wonderful wetland gardens

The NUGs invited members of the public to design a table-top wetland garden inspired by the environment of Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Each participant (or group of participants) had 30 minutes in which to design their garden plot, using living herbs, toys, found and recycled objects…after which it was exhibited for another 30 minutes before being dismantled to make way for the next plot. Some gardens might be informed by participants’ knowledge of wetland ecosystems , others might be surreal flights of fancy; a multiplicity of approaches will be enjoy creating gardens with us.
