Following the departure of co-founder Simon Withers in May 2017, NUGs expanded and currently includes: Stephen Hall (facilitator), Alex Begg (technician), Audrey Leach (garden designer, horticulturalist and facilitator), Emma Lewis-Jones choreographer, performer and facilitator) and Chris Lewis-Jones, artistic director.
Prior to forming the NUGs Chris Lewis-Jones Simon Withers collaborated on various projects, these included: Cyril Seaton's Cycle Roots, The Seaton Study group 9which published the paper ‘Cyril Seaton: Saucy Surrealist or Fortunate Fantasist?’ (Published by Staple)). Chris and Simon also project managed two cabaret projects: OPEN Cabaret and Cabaret Pink, Nottingham (2005 and 2006).
