Nu-Urban Gardeners

2010

Location – Northampton Market Square
Event – BLINK Summer Sundae
Date – Sunday 1st August 2010
Time – 12pm – 5pm

NUG – Activity –Tea Trolley Miniature Gardens
Garden Specialists - Chris Lewis-Jones & Simon Withers (Head Gardeners)

After a successful afternoon at the Watch this Space festival The NUGs hailed a passing taxi outside the National theatre. With some urgency we made our way to London Kings Cross train station to catch a train to our next destination, Northampton.

For the second time in our 2010 growing season the Nugs went mobile, offering the tea trolley miniature gardens option. Members of the public were invited to make their own temporary miniature garden, habitat or allotment.

The NUGs would like to thank Jane Greenfield for taking our trolleys to and from Northampton and returning them to Nottingham...and so much more...Jane is a real big Nugs champion. Thank you also to Matt Clowes (Artistic Director) and the Blink Arts Development team, Northampton.
