Nu-Urban Gardeners

2010

Location – Hampstead Heath
Event – City of London Festival 2010
Date – Sunday June 27th, 2010
Time –2pm – 6pm

NUG – Activity – hopeful habitats I
Garden Specialists - Chris Lewis-Jones & Simon Withers (Head Gardeners)

The Hampstead Heath gig...a gloriously hot day and the England football team were (we believe) playing an opening group match against Germany. It is quite probable many visitors came out for the afternoon to escape ‘World Cup fever'...and to their great credit the 'compare for the day' did not relay the score until the festival had concluded...The NUGs would like to thank The City of London Festival for inviting us to the event.
